Indian PM Narendra Modi unveiled the Statue of Peace virtually on the 151st birth anniversary of Jain Monk Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj.
The country now has another tallest statue after the Statue of Unity and also the upcoming Lord Rama statue in Ayodhya. The statue of Jain Monk has been made using major metals such as copper and a mixture of eight other metals. The statue has been installed at Vijay Vallabh Sadhana Kendra in Rajasthan.
After virtually inaugurating the statue, PM Narendra Modi said that Vijay Nityanand Surishwer Ji Maharaj used to say that the land of Gujarat gave two Vallabhs, i.e., Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the political field, and Jain Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj in the spiritual field.
PMO of India also added that both of the visionaries dedicated their lives to India’s Unity and Brotherhood and he thus feels fortunate to inaugurate both of these statues.
During the early times of 1870-1954, saint Shree Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj, worked tirelessly to spread the message of Lord Mahavira and he also worked for the welfare of the masses, abolition of social evils, and spread of education. Furthermore, the saint also supported the freedom and the swadesi movement.
As per records over 50 schools, colleges, and various other educational institutes have been built with his inspiration and are still operating.
