Hi all! Welcome to our weekly show about politics, Daily Kos’ The Brief! We air every Tuesday at 1:30 PT, 4:30 ET. This is our 12th show, and the final show of the year. We’ll be visiting with several Daily Kos writers: Mark Sumner, to talk about COVID; David Nir to talk elections and the Georgia runoff; and Walter Einenkel (who also produces this show!), to talk about how the hell we survived this year.
You can join us live, or check out the show later on our YouTube channel.
Last week we talked to famed political consultant Joe Trippi about his work in Alabama, and also the Georgia runoffs. The week before we took a look at the role of the Asian community in winning Georgia, while the week before that we explored how critical the Navajo Nation was in winning Arizona. Several weeks ago we caught up with Washington Post campaign writer Dave Weigel while he was literally on the ground covering a campaign rally in Georgia. It’s a different way to consume Daily Kos, for sure, and I’m totally into it. You can see our list of shows here.
In the new year, we’ll be creating a podcast version of the show, so I’m definitely excited to continue spreading the Daily Kos message into new media.
