CHICAGO (CBS) — As a major winter storm passes south of us Wednesday, the northern fringe of it could brush Northwest Indiana and areas east of I-55 with snow showers.
The low for Tuesday night is 28, the high for Wednesday 35.
Throughout the day Wednesday, a breeze off Lake Michigan could generate a few lake-enhanced snow showers.
Minor amounts of snow expected, but elevated surfaces could be slick for the morning commute.
By Thursday, the storm is wrapping up along the New England coast, taking the moisture away from us. Clouds will linger both Thursday and Friday.
The high for Thursday is 36.
A fast-moving disturbance this weekend could bring rain and snow showers Saturday. Slow clearing takes place for Sunday.
