UAE Holidays For 2021 Announced
The UAE Cabinet has just announced the dates of the public holidays for the year 2021. The Cabinet is headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. These dates reflect both the private sector as well as public sector. Some of the public holiday dates are subject to change based on the moon sighting. The scheduled dates to mark in your calendar are:
1 January 2021 – New Year’s Day
11 May to 15 May 2021 – Eid Al Fitr (subject to confirmation)
19 July 2021 – Arafat Day (subject to confirmation)
20 to 22 July 2021 – Eid Al Adha (subject to confirmation)
12 August 2021 – Islamic New Year (subject to confirmation)
21 October 2021 – Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) Birthday (subject to confirmation)
1 December 2021 – Commemoration Day
2 and 3 December 2021 – National Day
