Free Covid-19 Testing For Abu Dhabi School Children
After the Winter Break, children aged 12 and above need to provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test to join classes in person.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has made it mandatory for students and faculty to get a negative Covid-19 PCR before returning back to class.
Students and faculty will need to get tested from 21 December to 31 December 2020 for free at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) from 8am to 7pm.
Students need the show the centre their valid Emirates ID as well as a school code, which they can get from contacting their school.

Parents of students and staff have been notified of the timings in order to make sure the students are able to join in time for the beginning of the new year and are able to get their free testing done.
Students that are opting to learn from home, as well as students of determination, are exempted from taking the mandatory Covid-19 PCR tests.
Students that travelled during the break need to follow quarantine guidelines and also present a negative Covid-19 PCR test in order to resume classes, in person.
