A Tim Horton’s in Belle River received an unexpected surprise on Christmas Eve when a sedan drove into the building.
A grey Ford Taurus crashed through the plate glass window and stopped in the dining area at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Essex County OPP reported.
No one was injured.
North Street between Broadway Street and Notre Dame Street was temporarily closed for cleanup.
The restaurant also closed for cleanup.
