Everybody loves getting recognition from their mates when they do something well – and it turns out Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is no different.
United’s talisman was instrumental for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side during the 2-2 draw against Leicester City, assisting Marcus Rashford’s opener and then scoring the second himself.
The Portugal international did well to set up Rashford for his goal, stretching to get a touch on Dan James’ pass to divert it into the striker’s path.
Rashford made no mistake, giving Kasper Schmeichel no chance with a cool finish into the bottom corner.
Fernandes was the first one over to give the goalscorer a hug, and the pair shared a heartwarming moment as Fernandes giddily asked: “Did you see my assist?!”
There’s nothing wrong with being your own biggest fan, Bruno.
