The lifeless body of a woman was found on Sunday, on the way to Vallée-du-Parc, in Shawinigan.
Emergency services found the body at the edge of a wooded area around 2:30 p.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) major crimes department are invesitgating.
The SQ was unable to disclose further details on Sunday evening.
