CHICAGO (CBS) — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Tuesday night for 1 to 4 inches of snow and ice accumulation of 0.1 inch.
Heavier snow is expected from Rockford to Madison due to the storm track.

The snow starts for us after dark Tuesday and changes to freezing rain after midnight – with all rain by daybreak.

Temperatures will be rising above freezing Wednesday morning.
The high for Tuesday is 33, while the low for Tuesday night is 29. The high for Wednesday is 39.
A second storm moves in overnight New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day with a wintry mix.
