Jaipur: The Rajasthan police has requested police commissioners and SPs to take motion towards parts disrupting telecom companies by reducing optical fibre networks and supply police safety for restoring companies. ADG (Crime) Ravi Prakash wrote a letter to the commissioners and SPs alerting them over the matter on December 24.
“There were complaints from telecom companies that some elements deliberately cut fibre lines. So, a general order was issued,” he mentioned.
Pointing out that telecom companies fall below important companies and its disruption trigger heavy inconvenience to the general public, the ADG directed the officers to take immediate motion on complaints of intentionally reducing or disrupting optical fibre community or injury to cellular towers.
If telecom corporations demand police safety to revive the community, it needs to be instantly fulfilled, he mentioned.
