The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that 53,859 people have got a coronavirus vaccine over the last 24 hours, bringing to 941,556 the total number of shots taken so far across the nation.

In line with the Ministry of Health plan to provide the vaccine to more than 50% of the country’s population, the Ministry announced that a total of 53,859 doses we given in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of the doses that were provided today 941,556.

In the meantime, MoHAP, along with health authorities concerned, announced the launch of a national campaign to encourage people to get vaccinated against Covid-19, specially the elderly, and people with chronic diseases.
