I believe Windsor should have more bike lanes.
These bike lanes will provide a lot to our city and will have a great benefit on the community.
Bike lanes can provide easier transportation to get to different places. This will lead to more people using their bikes as transportation.
There also needs to be longer bike lanes in the city and county. I know there are currently bike lanes in the area, however, these lanes are often short and not ideal for those who want a longer ride.
There are many people who want to go on longer bike rides, but are scared of cycling on busy roads without bike lanes. This often leads to people riding their bike on the sidewalk and roads which can be dangerous for the cyclist and the pedestrians.
Finally, bike lanes also provide a huge safety benefit for anyone using them. There are many accidents each year because of people riding their bikes on sidewalks or busy roads.
Cycling on the sidewalks is a safer option, however, you can get fined for doing this. More bike lanes will solve this problem and will keep bikes away from sidewalks and unsafe roads.
