The Windsor Essex County Health Unit reported 199 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
The unit also announced seven more deaths bringing the total to 209 in the region.
Of the new confirmed cases, 32 are outbreak related, 20 are close contact with a confirmed case, four are community acquired and 143 are under investigation.
Of the seven deaths, four are from long term care or retirement homes, two men and one woman in their 80s and one woman in her 90s.
The other three are from the community with one woman in her 70s and a man and woman in their 80s.
There are 92 people hospitalized with COVID.
To date, the region has seen 9,445 confirmed cases with 6,732 resolved.
