On Sunday, Quebec administered 8,400 doses of vaccine. The new total: 92,452.
Via Twitter, Health Minister Christian Dubé noted Quebec has now administered 80 per cent of the vaccine doses that it has received.
“While the vaccination is progressing well, the situation in our hospitals, particularly in Montreal, is very worrying,” the minister said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Quebec has reported 230,690 cases and 8,737 deaths linked to COVID-19. A total of 197,938 who have contracted the disease have since recovered.

“In a one-month span, the number of people saying they plan to be inoculated as soon as possible has
increased 12 percentage points, with a firm majority (60 per cent) now willing, and waiting,” the polling firm found.
