“The situation with Fikayo is kind of open at the moment. There’s a possibility he could be going on loan to get games somewhere else. That would have to be the right solution for him and the club.”
According to a recent report from Sky Italy, AC Milan are interested in trying to sign Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.
The above quote comes from Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who, just a few days ago, made it crystal clear that the club was open to the idea of letting Tomori go out on loan. It now looks increasingly likely that’ll happen, although while Milan may fancy their chances, there are also a few Premier League clubs in the race to secure his signature too.
This saga has been ongoing for quite some time now but it finally feels like some closure is on the horizon for the 23-year-old, even if it’s only in the form of a temporary loan.
