Icicle formation seen as ice sheets cover vehicles.
It’s the fourth continuous day that the UAE has been experiencing near-freezing conditions in parts of the country. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCMS), the lowest temperature recorded at Raknah in Al Ain today morning was 0.5°C in Raknah at 07:30am.

A few days back, the area had recorded sub zero temperature of -2°Celsuis.

There has been a cold wave in parts of Al Ain this winter, with icicle formation on trees and sheets of thin ice covering vehicles.
Long-time residents in the country say that this is the coldest winter they have experienced so far.Videos of the UAE winter have gone viral on social media.
