Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho criticised his team at both ends of the pitch, and referenced the “impossible” actions pulled off by a Fulham star.
Tottenham took a first-half lead through the ever-reliable Harry Kane after sublime service from Sergio Reguilon.
Son Heung-min squandered an opportunity to put the game to bed when hitting the post after the break.
That near-miss would go on to prove fatal when Ivan Cavaleiro nodded home an equalising goal mere minutes later.
Speaking to the BBC after the match, Mourinho bemoaned Fulham’s “avoidable” goal, and criticised his side’s inability to put the game to bed when in the ascendancy.

“In the first half Alphonse Areola made some impossible saves, couple of others in the second, too.
“We have to kill a game and we didn’t – but you have to keep a clean sheet, not make mistakes, so it was a very avoidable goal.

“The markers are there, there wasn’t even an advantage in terms of numbers.
“They were intelligent enough to understand the way they play, they change, they become more defensive and they are getting results. I thought they were a bit lucky but they were good.
“We have bad results and we should – and we could have – avoided these results.”
When asked by Amazon Prime whether he was expecting a busy January transfer window, Mourinho concluded: “No. I am not expecting.”
We are better than this – Hojbjerg
Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also spoke to Amazon, stating: “Very disappointing. I think we have to do better in a couple aspects of the game.
“It is difficult to speak right now because of the emotions but more bravery and more focus. Executing the chances – I had a chance and had to score. Many details we have to remember.
“I am happy that there is a game in three days again so we can show a reaction and show that we are better than this but I don’t want to speak too much.
“We are still very hungry as a team and we will keep going.”
