MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) says folks visiting the State Capitol over the following a number of days will discover the presence of legislation enforcement officers, National Guard troopers and different additional safety measures.
On Thursday, the DPS introduced that it will likely be working with the Minnesota State Patrol to assist defend the Capitol attributable to potential protest exercise anticipated within the days main as much as the presidential inauguration.
“Visitors will notice some, but not all, security measures that are intended to keep people safe and protect property on the Capitol Complex,” the DPS mentioned.
