MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Serial rapist Jory Wiebrand, 35, will spend many years in jail for attacking a number of ladies in Minneapolis between 2015 and 2019.
In a plea deal struck Thursday, Wiebrand, from Ham Lake, pleaded responsible to 5 counts of first-degree felony sexual conduct, 4 of which have been first-degree degree, and one which was a second diploma cost, in response to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. He was initially charged in 14 instances.
He is predicted to be sentenced on March 11 to almost 46 years in jail, with one other 30-year sentence to run concurrently. Wiebrand may even be in conditional launch for the remainder of his life, and should register as a predatory sexual offender.
Wiebrand targeted his assaults for years on ladies close to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis’s Marcy-Holmes neighborhood and within the Dinkytown district.
