The agreement between the United Nurses of Alberta (UNA) and Alberta Health Services (AHS) came into effect on Monday and includes pay for employees who were required to self-isolate retroactive to July 2. The agreement remains in place until at least March 31, unless extended by both parties.

Access to Calgary airport now limited to travellers and staff
Only travellers and airport employees will be permitted to enter the Calgary International Airport starting Monday as officials seek to ensure physical distancing can be maintained by limiting the number of people passing through.
The Calgary Airport Authority announced the change to its terminal access policy, which means those wishing to greet loved ones at arrivals or bid farewell to friends and family at departures will no longer have that option.
Only passengers with valid boarding passes and on-duty airport employees can enter the building, as per the new rules.

‘Deeply disappointed’: Kenney says province will run out of vaccine by tomorrow
Alberta is set to run out of COVID-19 vaccine supply by late Monday or early Tuesday, Premier Jason Kenney warned at a news conference.
Speaking to reporters on Monday morning, Kenney said the province has administered nearly 90,000 doses to eligible health-care workers and staff, as well as residents in continuing care, as it completed first dose vaccinations at all 357 long-term care and designated supported living facilities in the province.
