Starting February 1, all drivers of trucks and vehicles transporting goods into the Capital must show a negative PCR test result received in the last seven days, according to an advisory issued on Monday.

The updated entry rules were announced by Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee in line with precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the emirate.

The committee renewed its call to the public to continue to cooperate and adhere to precautionary and preventive measures. “Violators may be liable for legal fines and penalties.”
