The UAE’s Jebel Jais is a visual treat. Located 2,000 metres above the sea level, it’s a popular weekend (and weekday) getaway with its winding roads and picturesque views.
In addition to breathtaking views, the peak is home to the world’s longest zipline.
The UAE’s KhalifaSat has captured the majestic peak in all its glory.
This is the UAE, where winding roads lead you to the summit.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre used #WorldsCoolestWinter as it posted the image. The hashtag refers to a domestic tourism drive that encourages residents to explore the UAE’s hidden gems this winter.
The post comes days after the KhalifaSat gave a bird’s eye view of Dubai’s Love Lake.
KhalifaSat is a 100 per cent Emirati-made satellite that was launched to space in October 2018.
