The trains – a lifeline and essential service for lakhs of the city’s commuters and those from economically weaker sections – will be open to the public from the first service till 7 am, from noon to 4 pm and from 9 pm to the last train of the day.
The rest of the time, the trains will be open only for those in essential services – such as frontline workers, healthcare staff and others.
