BCCI secretary Jay Shah has been unanimously elected as the President of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday. The 32-year-old replaces Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief Najmul Hasan Papon. BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal congratulated Shah on social media. In the absence of BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, Jay Shah is overseeing the work and under his supervision, the Indian Cricket Board has decided to organize the Vijay Hazare tournament after the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament.

BCCI treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal shared the news on Twitter.
