The Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank through a webinar held last year, had announced that the examinations for Class X and XII in 2021 will be conducted from May 4 to June 10. The minister had further revealed that the CBSE 10 and 12 results will be announced by 15th July. He had also said that keeping in mind the interest of the students, the date sheet of CBSE 10th, 12th board exam 2021 will be released at an appropriate time, on the board’s official website.
Both the Union Ministry of Education and the CBSE had made it clear that the examinations will have to be taken at the examination centre itself in the pen and paper mode, like every year. There isn’t any provision for an online mode of test.
As informed previously, there will be 33 percent internal choices in the exam thus giving students a better opportunity to score marks. Overall, the marks are going to be given on an 80:20 basis, as usual, that is theory papers will carry 80 marks and internal assessment will be of 20 marks.
