Over 26.2 million tests have been conducted across the country to date.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 3,977 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 4,075 recoveries.
Twelve deaths were also reported.
The new cases were detected through additional 173,952 tests.
The total number of cases in UAE as on February 3 stand at 313,626 while total recoveries are 289,276. The death toll rises to 878.
Over 26.2 million tests have been conducted to date as part of the country’s massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

On Wednesday, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced that in-classroom education would resume for all grades in Abu Dhabi schools, starting February 14.
Meanwhile, UAE airlines Etihad Airways and Emirates have announced the temporary suspension of passenger flights to Saudi Arabia, in accordance with fresh directives issued by the Kingdom banning passengers from 20 countries. The official websites of both airlines have reflected the update, which takes effect today, February 3, from 9pm Saudi time.
