A 43-year-old woman was arrested late Tuesday by Quebec City police in connection with a stabbing that took place in the Limoilou district.
The victim, a 44-year-old man, was taken to hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.
Police were called to the scene at 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a verbal dispute between two persons.
No details were provided by police on the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The woman is expected to appear in court Wednesday to face charges that have yet to be determined by the prosecutor’s office.
