The UAE’s vaccination administration rate is the second highest globally.
The UAE has vaccinated 157,783 residents against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The country’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 3.84 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 38.92.

The British researchers behind the trial said data on vaccinating people with the two different types of coronavirus vaccines could help understanding of whether shots can be rolled out with greater flexibility around the world. Initial data on immune responses is expected to be generated around June.
Meanwhile, data reported on Wednesday showed more people are now vaccinated against Covid-19 than have been infected by the virus.
Nevertheless, despite the landmark data, it remains unclear how long it will take to vaccinate the world. Many of those vaccinated have received only one of two doses required.
