A total of 1097 players have registered for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 auction to be held this year on 18 February. The BCCI has informed that a total of 814 Indian and 283 foreign players have registered their names for the IPL 14 auction. The list of players also includes the name of Arjun Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun can also be seen playing in IPL 2021. According to a report in Cricbuzz, all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar has registered himself for the IPL auction to be held on February 18. The Mumbai-lad has reportedly set a base price at 20 lakh rupees.
Arjun Tendulkar has been the net bowler of IPL champions Mumbai Indians. He has also played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Mumbai this year. However, his performance was not very good as he was hammered for 67 runs in 7 overs he bowled.
Meanwhile, Australian sensational fast-bowler Mitchell Starc will not be seen playing in the IPL once again. He has not registered his name for the IPL 2021 auction.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will also be available for the auction this year along with Sreesanth, while Mitchell Starc and England Test captain Joe Root have kept themselves away from it. The ban on Sreesanth ended in September this year and he recently played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
