Gulf countries over the weekend re-imposed a slew of restrictions on education, leisure and business activities across the country in a bid to curb the spread of the ongoing pandemic.

In a fresh measure, residents visiting the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department’s customer service centre must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Meanwhile, UAE airlines on Thursday announced travel restrictions to Kuwait.

Emirates airline, Etihad Airways and Flydubai made the announcement after Kuwait said it would suspend entry for non-citizens for two weeks as of February 7, following a rise in coronavirus cases.
