Xiaomi has announced the global release of its flagship Mi 11. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset, a 108MP triple main camera and 50W wireless charging. We got see a glimpse of the smartphone in the UAE, with it being showcased via a light show on Burj Khalifa.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 turns any novice photo and video enthusiast into a film director. With its triple camera setup, it boasts a 108MP wide-angle camera sensor as its primary shooter for professional-grade pictures.
Accompanying this is a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 5MP telemacro lens. For your selfies, the smartphone packs a 20MP punch-hole front camera which minimises bezels yet ensuring the best when snapping a selfie or video chatting with your friends.
6.81-inch AMOLED DotDisplay
For your multimedia needs, there is a premium 120Hz 6.81-inch AMOLED DotDisplay on the Xiaomi Mi 11. It comes with an A+ rating from DisplayMate and offers a WQHD+ resolution, 10-bit colour technology.
In addition to this, the smartphone comes with Super Resolution technology. This upgrades low resolution videos to WQHD+ quality without the worry of increased data consumption.
World’s most advanced performance
Alongside the display hardware, the Mi 11 was also the first smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The processor completely redefines the user experience with its Adreno 660 GPU, 6th generation Qualcomm AI engine and X60 modem with 5G support. This is coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a 4,600mAh battery that supports 55W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Pricing and availability
Pricing details for the Xiaomi Mi 11 in the UAE are unknown at present. But globally, the smartphone costs €749 (Dh3,335.28) and €799 (Dh3,557.93) for its different variants respectively. Traditionally, Xiaomi prices the Mi 11 lower than global pricing in the UAE but we will only learn more when the smartphone is available sometime in April.
