New Delhi: Congress floor leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Friday said there was need for some clarification on the statement made by the defence minster on Friday about the troops’ disengagement at LAC. It demanded to know whether India was letting go the advantage gained after the troops gained strategic position on a tactical range.
He also asked during the Zero Hour what measures have been taken with regard to the fact the Chinese troops had entered 18 km inside in Depasang area. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Singh Meghwal intervened to say Chowdhury “should have faith in what the Indian Defence Minister’” had statedand “not in what Rahul Gandhi is saying”.
