Overcast conditions persisted in the UAE on Sunday, even as some areas in Abu Dhabi and Dubai received rains.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported rain over Dubai’s Jebel Ali and Al Dhafra’s Al Sila, Sabkhat Matti and Jebel Dhanna on Sunday. It used #cloud_seeding as it alerted residents about the rains, suggesting that the enhancement technique would bring in more showers.

The NCM has forecast more rains for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
On Saturday, rains were reported in Dibba Fujairah and Abu Dhabi. Social media handle Storm Centre said rains fell in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. It posted videos of showers in Dibba Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
