Third Edition Of The UAE Cycle Tour
The third edition of the UAE Cycle Tour starts on Sunday, 21 February and will run until Saturday, 27 February.
The seven-stage cycling event begins at Al Dhafra Castle and ends at the Corniche Breakwater in Abu Dhabi.
The event will see over 140 riders from 20 international teams, cycling through 5 emirates while they pass various landmarks in the UAE including Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island and Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
The UAE Tour is the only World Tour event in the Middle East, and top cyclists such as Tadej Pogacar, UAE Tour 2020 winner Adam Yates and four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome all confirmed to take part.
The cyclists will cover 1,045 kilometres with over 3,500 metres of elevation.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, all precautionary measures will be taken as well as regular PCR tests throughout the course of the tour.
