When the Detroit Lions traded Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams, many around the league assumed that the Lions would go through a complete teardown and re-build. Not only is Stafford now gone, but the team has a brand new coaching staff and Detroit’s two biggest receiving threats, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr., are free agents. While Jones seems interested in joining his old QB in L.A., Golladay’s tenure in Motown may not be over, as the Lions front office is considering placing the franchise tag on the 27-year-old former Pro Bowler. Even if he is franchised, the team may still deal him, but with Jared Goff now under center, it’s very possible Detroit tries to be competitive this season while still building for the future.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Golladay dealt with injuries all throughout 2020, but in 2019, he was a stud, compiling 1,190 yards through the air while leading the NFL in receiving TDs with 11. So with that all in mind, how many of the most recent players to top 1,000 receiving yards in a season for every NFL franchise can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
