Vaccines being administered in UAE are effective and already yielding results.
The UAE has vaccinated 87,263 residents against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The country’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the total doses administered now stands at 5.93 million. This takes the rate of doses per 100 people to 59.99.

In the UAE, a hospital in Ras Al Khaimah has introduced an antibody treatment for Covid that could ‘greatly reduce’ a patient’s risk of complications from the infection.
It is reported to be effective in halting the progression of the disease, saving patients from hospitalisation.
