A Windsor man faces a number of charges, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, after police pulled over a motorist observed “driving erratically and in dangerous manner.”
City cops conducted the vehicle stop last Sunday at approximately 12 p.m. in the area of Howard Avenue and Erie Street East, according to a news release on Friday.
As a result of the stop, officers determined the driver was prohibited from getting behind the wheel and he was arrested. A search of the man revealed a prohibited weapon — spring-assisted knife — and a quantity of drugs. Windsor police did not divulge the quantity of the drugs seized but stated it was fentanyl.
Brian Breault, 61, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl; possession of a prohibited weapon; three counts of failing to comply with a prohibition order and failure to comply with a judicial release order.
