Last week, it was rumored that Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons were headed for a divorce. That separation officially went down on Friday in the form of a buyout, with Griffin giving back a substantial chunk of change to sign with a contender. On Monday, the former Slam Dunk champ inked a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. The 31-year-old Griffin joins Brooklyn’s big three of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. The Nets are now the current favorites to win the NBA Finals, and If all goes to plan, Griffin will put an exclamation point on what is already a fairly exceptional NBA career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Griffin’s days as an NBA All-Star may be over, but it wasn’t that long ago that he was a fixture at All-Star Weekend. And as of 2021, Griffin is still the last player to be named an all-star as a rookie. Throughout NBA history, a total of 45 players have made the All-Star Game during their rookie seasons. So with that in mind, how many of the 45 can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
