Welcome to the ABP News LIVE for Wednesday, March 10, 2021: The polling for 12 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats in Andhra Pradesh began early morning on Tuesday. As many as 78.71 lakh eligible voters are eligible to vote in today’s AP Municipal Elections 2021. Counting of votes for Andhra Pradesh Municipal Elections 2021 will take place on March 14.
Later in the day, Supreme Court will hear a plea challenging the Calcutta High Court order which allowed the CBI to investigate a case of alleged illegal mining and transportation of coal in West Bengal, without the State’s consent.
On Monday, a five-day ‘Janta Curfew’ was imposed in Maharashtra’a Jalgaon district in a bid to control the spread of Coronavirus in the state. District Collector Abhijit Raut said the ‘Janta Curfew’ will be imposed from 8 p.m. on March 11 till 8 a.m. on March 15 in the Municipal Corporation limits in Jalgaon.
