Marking a new milestone in the role of camera phones in story-telling, Prasenjeet Yadav headed into the lush forests of the Western Ghats to capture the wildlife that lurks beyond the foliage, for the perfect cover shot. A highlight of his adventure was spotting the Gunther’s vine snake and the star-eyed tree frog, both of which are rare species endemic to the Western Ghats. However, it was the lion-tailed macaques that populate the jungle canopy that made it to the cover of the March issue. Here’s how he went about his quest:
