A fatal shooting left one man dead in Brampton on Wednesday night and is being investigated as a homicide.
Peel Regional Police, Peel Paramedics and Brampton Fire and Emergency Services were called shortly after 7 p.m. to the Archdekin Dr. and Rutherford Rd. area, near Williams Pkwy., following numerous reports of gunshots.
“Upon arrival, our officers did, in fact, locate an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of apparent gunshot wounds,” Const. Akhil Mooken said from the scene. “Despite the best effort of first responders on scene, that male has died as a result of the injuries that he sustained.”
No suspect information has been released.
