Canadiens coach Dominique Ducharme won’t make any changes to his lineup for Wednesday night’s game against the Jets in Winnipeg (9 p.m., TSN2, RDS, TSN 690 Radio, 98.5 FM).
That means Carey Price will start in goal for the third straight game and the sixth time in the last seven games. Price has allowed only nine goals in his last six games while posting a 4-1-1 record. Price made 34 saves in Monday night’s 4-2 win over the Jets.
For the season, Price has a 9-5-4 record with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
Forward Paul Byron, who was placed on NHL waivers on Tuesday and wasn’t claimed by another team, will also be in the lineup, while Artturi Lehkonen will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game and the eighth time this season. Victor Mete will be a healthy scratch on defence.
The Canadiens are in fourth place in the all-Canadian North Division with a 13-8-7 record, while the Jets are in second place with a 17-9-2 record.
