A murder investigation has been launched after three people were found dead at two separate properties in Newtownabbey, County Antrim.
Detectives say the incidents are linked and have launched a double murder probe. They say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the killings.
Police became aware of the unfolding incident after being called to a stabbing at a house in the town’s Derrycoole Way shortly before 11pm on Friday night.
A woman’s body was found there, before another woman’s body was also discovered at a property in nearby Glenville Road.
An unconscious man was also found at the scene.
He added: “While we have launched a murder investigation, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with these incidents which we believe are connected.”
No other details were immediately available but police have appealed for people with information to contact 101.
