Government, private sector employees who need to compulsorily take the tests.
The UAE has implemented stringent Covid safety measures across the country. Among them are compulsory Covid PCR tests every week or two. Multiple announcements have been made about the mandatory PCR tests for private and public sector employees this year.
Here is a list of who all need to take the test and how often.

Employees in five sectors across the UAE will need to take a Covid PCR test every 14 days: Hotels, restaurants, transportation, health and social and personal activities such as laundries, beauty salons, and hairdressers. Those who are vaccinated against Covid are exempted.

All private sector employees in vital sectors and service industries in Abu Dhabi will need to undergo compulsory PCR Covid tests every two weeks. They can take take the tests for free.

Starting February 7, Abu Dhabi government and semi-government offices have been operating at 30 per cent capacity. All employees who have not yet taken the Covid vaccine must undergo a PCR test for Covid-19 every seven days.

Unvaccinated workers in restaurants, cafeterias, cafes, bakeries and salons must take a test every two weeks.
>> Sharjah government sector
Government staff in the Emirate need to take the test every week unless they are vaccinated.

Weekly tests must for workers of Weekly PCR tests are mandatory for workers at restaurants and cafes; supermarkets, sports halls; salons; labour recruitment offices; food and meal delivery companies; and car wash.

All employees of the UAE’s ministries and federal government departments must undergo a PCR test for Covid-19 every seven days. Vaccinated employees are exempted.
