Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a male suspect after a number of Kingsville locations were sprayed with graffiti.
Graffiti has been found on several buildings, including town property, since the beginning of March.
On March 3 at approximately 5:40 p.m., a suspect was observed. He is described as a white male, approximately 16- to 22-years of age with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a toque, grey hoodie, dark pants and carrying a black backpack.
Police remind the public that “graffiti is not art – it is mischief.”
Mischief, the wilful destruction and damage of property, is a criminal code offence punishable by a prison term of up to 10 years.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or report anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leaving an anonymous online message at www.catchcrooks.com, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
