For some, when it comes to jobs, it’s Nerf or nothin’.
According to Polygon, Nerf is hiring a dream job for anyone who grew up playing with Nerf’s familiar plastic toys: a chief TikTok officer.
The position would find one lucky individual working to head the company’s marketing sector by way of TikTok for three months. The lucky applicant would make $10,000 a month for three months as well as a “massive amount of Nerf products.”
The position may seem like a dream come true, but there’s a real job listing to accompany it. There’s also a YouTube clip lining out the opportunity, showcasing Nerf’s “best” video made in an attempt to attract applicants.
The lucky “winner,” so to speak, would be tasked with creating 10-12 TikTok videos a month as well as meet each week with Nerf’s marketing team. It’s a completely remote position too, so it’s open to a wide variety of Nerf faithfuls. One catch, however, is that anyone who applies must be 18 to qualify.
There’s no word whether this is an ongoing contract position or if it’s simply a three-month stint for publicity’s sake. However, for anyone who believes they’re a good fit, Nerf will likely make quite the impression when it comes to filling out a resume.
