The search remains ongoing for teenage twins Lily and Poppy Myers, who have been missing for six days.
On Thursday, the Metropolitan Police launched an appeal for information over the 13-year-olds from southwest London who were reported missing last Saturday.
The Independent was told there had been no update early Friday morning.
The twins were last seen on Egerton Road in Twickenham at around 2pm on 3 April, before being reported missing later that day.
After urging the public to call police if they saw the twins, Richmond Police said later on Thursday they believed the girls had been in touch with friends earlier that day.
They urged those friends or their parents to get in contact with the force.
Police said the girls may have travelled to Hillingdon and have strong links to the borough in west London.
Enquiries so far have established that they may be in the Northwood area, the Met said.
A missing person investigation is ongoing for the teengaers, who are both of slim build and around 5ft 2in tall.
Poppy has blondish shoulder length hair and was wearing a long white coat and knee-length riding boots when she was last seen in Twickenham.
Meanwhile, Lily, who has brown hair, was wearing black trousers and black platform boots.
Police have told anyone who sees Poppy and Lily to call 999 and people with other information about their whereabouts to call 101 providing the reference 21MIS009223.
The Met issued an appeal to parents who believe their children may be friends with the teenagers to ask their children if they have been in touch with them and to contact police with any relevant information.
