“RHOC” star Gina Kirschenheiter’s ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, allegedly intends to plead guilty in their ongoing domestic violence case.
During a virtual hearing on Thursday, Gina’s lawyer told the judge that Matt — who does not have a lawyer representing him in the case — intends to enter a guilty plea, Us Weekly reported.
Page Six was unable to reach Matt for comment.
The case will be presented in front of the judge again on June 9.
Gina, 36, accused her ex-husband of domestic violence in June 2019, claiming that he violently attacked her after a drunken night out. She also received a temporary protective order that same month.
“I was really scared,” Gina said of the incident at the “RHOC” reunion in 2019. “I ran out of the house and I rang my neighbor’s doorbell, and I was banging on the door, and [Matt] dragged me back in the house.”
Matt, 37, is also due in court on April 20 in regards to his felony case on corporal injury and false imprisonment effected by violence, menace, fraud, or deceit charges stemming from that incident, per a court docket.
He faces up to seven years in prison and previously pleaded not guilty to those crimes.
Gina first filed for divorce from Matt in April 2018. The couple share three children, Nicholas, 8, Sienna, 6, and Luca, 4.
Gina’s lawyer didn’t immediately get back to us.
