I believe some charities in Canada and worldwide need to be better regulated to ensure they are completely transparent and follow regulations.
At present, I feel some may help a few, but at times those that run them may benefit the most.
WE charity is one example.
Although there are exceptions, I have lost complete confidence in many of them.
How can Downtown Mission afford millions of dollars to acquire the former Windsor Library. It leads me to questions actions of its leadership, including Ron Dunn who I feel also recently flouted COVID-19 regulations.
There are some people in Windsor who organize local charities that I feel have become very affluent.
Hold charities accountable for every dollar they raise and ensure regulations are followed.
