UAE Considers Setting Restrictions For Individuals That Are Not Vaccinated
The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority has announced that the UAE is considering setting movement restrictions for individuals that have not been vaccinated.
Measures such as prohibition from entering certain places as well as restriction to services will be set in place.
Citizens and residents above the age of 16 are now eligible to receive the vaccine and are advised to do so in order to protect them from the ongoing pandemic.
Individuals with medical conditions are advised to see the doctors at the health centres to see if they can receive the vaccine.
The national vaccination programme has successfully provided the first dose of the vaccines to 5,081,853 people and the second dose to 3,836,521 people.
65.54% of the eligible groups have been vaccinated with 74.63% of the elderly were vaccinated.
